Golden House Paola, Áyios Spirídhon

Golden House Paola is a small stay in Áyios Spirídhon, Greece, set on Agiou Athanasiou 10, a handy base for beach days and quick hops into the Argostoli area. The property’s focus on comfort shows in the air conditioning and soundproof rooms, which help when you want a quieter night after time outdoors. Rooms are also disinfected between stays, with hand sanitizer available in guest areas, and staff follow local safety protocols, so hygiene is treated as part of the routine rather than an afterthought.

With a 10/10 guest rating from a limited set of reviews, the standout theme is how well the accommodation supports everyday travel needs—especially for visitors who value calm sleeping conditions and straightforward, family-friendly space. If you’re traveling with children, the family rooms make it easier to keep everyone together without sacrificing comfort. Couples also tend to like the terrace for slower moments back at the property, when you’re ready to reset before dinner.

In terms of what’s nearby, Áyios Spirídhon Beach is about 1 km away for an easy morning swim, while Argostoli Port is roughly 3 km for waterfront walks and ferry connections. For culture and nature beyond the coast, the Mycenaean Tholos Tomb sits around 19 km from the hotel, and Melissani Cave is about 21 km away. Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, which can be useful if you’re planning to explore the island by car.
