Fragios Beach House, Chania Town

Fragios Beach House is a beachfront stay in Chania Town, Greece, suited to travelers who want the sea as their daily backdrop rather than a distant attraction. Located at 39 Skinner, it places you within easy reach of Nea Chora Beach (about 0.3 km) and Kladissos Beach (about 0.5 km), so you can step out for a swim or a long shoreline walk without building a full itinerary around transport. The terrace is a key part of the experience, giving you a place to linger outdoors when the light softens over the water.

Guests have rated the property highly at 9.6/10 based on 48 reviews, and the recurring theme is how smoothly the stay works for real beach time: people mention the straightforward comfort, the practical layout for day-to-day living, and the sense that the location makes it easy to come and go. Air conditioning helps when the afternoons heat up, while WiFi is available for keeping in touch or planning the next outing.

For sightseeing, you can reach Chania Old Town in roughly 1.5 km, where the lanes around the Venetian harbour reward slower wandering. If you’re looking for a change of pace, the area around the lighthouse and waterfront is also within a short ride or walk. This is best for couples and small groups who prefer to base themselves by the beach, enjoy nearby swimming spots, and still want the option to be in the heart of Chania for dinner and evening strolls.
