Villa Olivia, Chania Town

Villa Olivia is a calm base in Douliana, in Chania Town, Greece, set up for travelers who want quiet time between beach trips and day excursions. The property’s address in Douliana places you within reach of Kalami Beach, about 1.5–2 km away, while the historic Chania Old Town is roughly 20 km from the hotel. Guests typically describe the stay as peaceful and easygoing, and the overall rating of 8.5/10 from a small set of reviews suggests a consistent experience for those who value tranquility.

The outdoor space is a key part of the appeal: you can unwind on the terrace and use the BBQ facilities when the weather is right. Inside, air conditioning helps keep evenings comfortable, especially after a warm day outdoors. Practical touches also matter here, including private check-in and check-out, plus car hire and a shuttle service (for an additional charge) if you’d rather not drive yourself.

This is best for couples looking for a relaxed romantic stay, and it also suits families who prefer a quieter setting over constant city bustle. If your itinerary includes Chania’s Venetian Port and the Old Town lanes, plan on a short drive, then return to the stillness of Douliana afterward. Some guests mention that having parking arrangements and discounted offsite parking rates available makes day-to-day logistics simpler. Overall, Villa Olivia works well when you want a low-key home base with outdoor living, straightforward comfort, and quick access to the coast.
