Ermis Hotel, Dhríza

Ermis Hotel is a 1-star, budget-friendly stay in Dhríza, Greece, set along Στυμφαλία, a quiet base for travelers who want nature first and fuss last. Check-in runs from 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so it suits arrivals that don’t require late-night coordination, while check-out is at 12:00 PM. The property is geared toward a calmer stay: rooms and common areas are non-smoking, and the hotel also has a terrace where you can unwind after time outdoors. If you’re traveling with a pet, pets are allowed, which can make a noticeable difference for couples or solo explorers who don’t want to leave companions behind.

Food is handled on-site with a restaurant and room service, useful when you’d rather not drive back after a day around the lake. Guests have rated Ermis Hotel 8.2/10 based on 20 reviews, and that score suggests a generally positive experience for its category—particularly for people who value simplicity, straightforward service, and a practical base rather than luxury touches. Expect limited front desk hours, so it’s wise to plan questions or requests earlier in your day.

For sightseeing, Stymfalia Lake is about 5 km away, the Stymfalia Archaeological Museum sits roughly 6 km from the hotel, and Mount Oligyrtos is around 10 km out for mountain scenery. An accessible train station shuttle is available, but it’s listed as limited-hours, so confirm timing if you’re relying on public connections. Ermis Hotel is best for solo travelers, couples, and budget groups who want a quiet countryside base with easy access to the local sights.
