Corfu Glyfada Menigos Resort 5-8-a, Glyfada

Corfu Glyfada Menigos Resort 5-8-a is a practical base for time on the water in Glyfada, Greece, with the beach close enough to build a simple day around swimming and returning for a break. The property sits on an unnamed road in the Glyfada area, so having a car helps you move between Glyfada and nearby coves without relying on limited local options. Guest feedback is modest overall, with a 7/10 rating from two reviews, so it’s best approached with realistic expectations and a focus on location and convenience rather than luxury.

For families and pet owners, the resort’s policies are a clear plus: children are allowed and pets are also welcome, which makes it easier to travel with the whole household. Reviews from other travelers highlight the value of the on-site pool for downtime between beach outings, and the availability of free wired internet makes it easier to stay connected when you’re not out exploring. Cleanliness is addressed with professional cleaning companies and guest rooms disinfected between stays, which can matter when you’re traveling with kids or pets.

If you want nearby landmarks, Achilleion Palace is about 14 km away, and Corfu Town is roughly 17 km from the resort for Old Town wandering and evening dining. Mirtiotissa Beach sits around 4 km away, offering an easy alternative to Glyfada Beach (about 1 km). This is a road-trip-friendly stay that suits couples, families, and solo travelers who plan to spend most of their time outdoors and want a pet-friendly base with a pool and reliable internet.
