King's Village Apartments, Hersonissos

King's Village Apartments is a small, apartment-style base in Hersonissos, Crete, set on Sokratous 5 for travelers who want independence without losing the ability to ask for help. The location suits people who like to move on foot: Hersonissos Beach is about 0.5 km away and the port area is roughly 1 km, so you can switch between swimming, waterfront walks, and evening dining with minimal planning. Guests also have easy access to Aquaworld Aquarium (around 1.5 km) and Star Beach (about 1.2 km), making day trips feel close rather than time-consuming.

Inside, the appeal is practical. Free WiFi keeps everyone connected, while the 24-hour front desk and luggage storage help with arrivals and late plans. After a busy day, the terrace and garden provide a calmer pocket to reset, and a snack bar/deli makes it easier to handle lighter meals without heading out every time. For downtime, there’s a billiards or pool table that gives groups something to do that doesn’t revolve around screens.
