Seaside Gouves, Hersonissos

Seaside Gouves is a beachfront hotel in Hersonissos, Greece, set on Daskalogianni in the Gouves area, where the coastline is the main draw. If you’re arriving by air, Heraklion International Airport is roughly 19 km away, making it a practical base for exploring this stretch of Crete. The hotel’s guest feedback is limited, with a 4/10 rating from 1 review, so it’s best suited to travelers who are comfortable taking a chance and prioritizing location over a proven track record.

For day trips, Aquaworld Aquarium is about 1 km from the property, and Star Beach Water Park sits around 2 km away, giving you easy options for families or anyone who wants a structured outing. The surrounding area is built around sea days and short drives, so you can keep plans simple: swim, eat locally, then return to the hotel for downtime.

On-site, free WiFi helps you stay connected, while the designated smoking area clarifies where smoking is allowed. Wheelchair accessibility is listed, which matters for guests who need step-free access and smoother movement around common areas. Pets are also allowed, making Seaside Gouves a straightforward choice for pet-friendly travelers who don’t want to leave their animals behind.

Based on the single available review, the most reliable way to judge fit is to align expectations with what you value most: a coastal base in Hersonissos with pet-friendly policies and basic conveniences, rather than a heavily reviewed, consistently polished stay. Best for solo explorers and couples seeking a beach-oriented base, and for pet owners who want to travel with their animals.
