Sunny side Palio is a practical, low-key base in Kavala, Greece, set on Ritsou Palio for travelers who want easy access to the coast without being in the busiest streets. The apartments are equipped with air conditioning and a terrace, which matters in warm months when you’ll want a comfortable place to cool down and reset. Guests also mention the calm feel of the stay, and with a guest rating of 9/10 from four reviews, the overall impression is consistent: people tend to appreciate the straightforward setup and the sense that the property is run with care.

Check-in runs from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the hotel supports express and private check-in/check-out, which can reduce friction when you arrive late or after a day on the road. For evenings in, the terrace and BBQ facilities are the kind of details that turn a quiet night into something more social, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends. Non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout also come up as a positive for guests who prefer cleaner indoor air.

If you’re planning day trips, you can reach the Kavala Fortress and the Archaeological Museum in about 6 km, giving you a clear route into the city’s history. Palio Beach is roughly 1 km away, so a morning swim or sunset walk is realistic without needing to plan around transport. This hotel is best for couples, small families, and solo explorers who value a relaxed coastal base, outdoor time, and a smooth arrival process over a highly urban setting.
