Forecastle, Keratea

Forecastle is a luxury villa in Keratea, Greece, set on a quiet stretch of coastline where sea air and open views define the stay. The property is located in the Keratea luxury villa area, making it a straightforward base for day trips toward the Sounion coast and the Lavrio shoreline. With a guest rating of 9.7/10 from 12 reviews, recent visitors consistently highlight the calm atmosphere and the comfort of a well-managed, non-smoking environment.

Inside, the villa’s layout suits groups who want privacy without feeling cut off from one another, and the presence of air conditioning helps you stay comfortable across warm evenings. Outdoors, the heated swimming pool extends swim time beyond peak daylight, while the terrace gives you a place to linger between swims and meals. BBQ facilities add a practical, social touch for evenings when you want to cook at home rather than plan every dinner.

The surrounding region gives you a clear itinerary: the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion is about 15 km away for dramatic coastal history, while Lavrio’s seafront and port area sit roughly 14 km from the villa for walks and waterfront atmosphere. Guests also tend to mention easy access to coastline scenery around Cape Sounion, especially for sunset drives.

Forecastle is best for couples and families who value space, a private pool experience, and a quieter base for exploring the Attica coastline, rather than for travelers seeking a walk-everywhere city break. Check-in runs from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so plan your arrival and departure around those windows.
