Athina Country House, Kouramádes

Athina Country House in Kouramádes, Greece, suits travelers who want a quiet base outside the busier parts of Corfu while still reaching major sights by car. The apartment sits on Kouramades Street in the Kouramádes area, where the countryside feel is part of the appeal. The stay is built around practical comfort: air conditioning helps you cool down after a day out, and free wired internet makes it easier to plan routes or check messages. The non-smoking policy throughout the property also matters if you’re sensitive to indoor smells.

Because there is only one guest review on record with a 2/10 rating, expectations should be set carefully and you may want to confirm details directly with the host before committing. That said, the property’s simplicity can work well for solo explorers or couples who mainly need a clean, functional place to rest between outings. A fully equipped kitchen means you can handle breakfast or simple dinners at your own pace rather than relying on every meal out.

From here, Pontikonisi is about 8 km away, giving you a scenic target for a half-day outing. Mon Repos Palace is roughly 10 km from the property, a useful landmark if you’re mixing history with greenery. Paleokastritsa Beach is around 9 km away for a day of swimming and coastal views, while Corfu Town is about 12 km for evening strolls and dining. If you’re looking for a low-key countryside stop with straightforward amenities and easy access to Corfu’s highlights, Athina Country House may fit—just be sure to verify what matters most to you.
