Sofia's Apartment, Markopoulo

Sofia's Apartment is a small, practical base in Markopoulo, Greece, suited to travelers who want their own space without complicated logistics. Located at Σταμέλου 9 1ος, it’s close enough to Markopoulo Square (about 1 km) for errands and casual meals, while still keeping the feel of a quieter town stay. The apartment is set up for comfort with air conditioning and non-smoking policies throughout, which matters if you’re sensitive to smells or traveling with children. Private check-in and check-out also helps when your arrival plans don’t match standard hotel hours.

The location works well for day trips: Metropolitan Expo is roughly 6 km away, making it a sensible option for business visitors or event attendees who prefer to stay off the busiest corridors. If your itinerary leans toward the coast, Schinias Beach is about 16 km from Markopoulo, giving you a straightforward route to sea air and a beach day.

Guest feedback is limited, with a 4/10 rating from 1 review, so it’s best to treat this as an early-stage listing rather than a proven crowd favorite. That said, the apartment’s family-friendly setup and the availability of non-smoking rooms, lift access, and express check-in/check-out are the kind of details that reduce friction during a short stay. Offsite parking with discounted rates is also listed, which can help if you’re arriving by car.

Sofia's Apartment is best for families, solo travelers, and business guests who value straightforward check-in, air conditioning, and a calm base near town services and day-trip destinations.
