Acres Gem House, Mýkonos City

Acres Gem House is a calm stay in Mýkonos City, Greece, set on Anw Mera Mykonow where you can trade the bustle of Chora for a quieter base. Guests typically describe the property as peaceful, with a Japanese garden that gives the grounds a restful, private feel. It’s the kind of place that suits travelers who want to recharge between outings rather than spend the day rushing from one hotspot to the next.

The practical comforts stand out in guest feedback: air conditioning helps you cool down after time in the sun, and free wired internet makes it easier to plan routes or handle work from your room. Non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout also appeal to visitors who prefer cleaner indoor air. For those arriving by car, self parking is available for a surcharge, and the hotel notes discounted rates for offsite parking, which can be helpful on an island where parking can be tight.

Rooms are described as having a private entrance and a balcony with garden views, which many guests say makes mornings feel slower and more personal. From here, it’s straightforward to reach key sights such as Little Venice and the Old Port area in about 2 km, while the Mykonos Windmills are roughly 3 km away. The Paraportiani church area and Tria Pigadia are also close enough for an easy sightseeing loop.

Best for couples and solo explorers who value quiet, garden time, and straightforward access to Mýkonos City’s landmarks without staying in the thick of the nightlife.
