Bougainvillea House - Mykonos, Mýkonos City

Bougainvillea House - Mykonos is a small, family-friendly stay in Mýkonos City, Greece, set on Petinaros - Argirena. The property’s appeal is in its quieter feel and practical comforts: air conditioning for warm evenings, non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout, and a terrace where you can slow down after a day on the island. A free beach shuttle helps take the friction out of getting to the coast, while luggage storage makes it easier to arrive early or depart later without feeling rushed.

Based on the limited guest feedback available (a 6.5/10 from two reviews), the experience seems more suited to travelers who prioritize a calm base over a high-energy, hotel-lobby scene. One common theme in small-stay reviews is that expectations should be realistic; you’re choosing a straightforward accommodation rather than a full-service resort. That said, the staff follow local safety protocols, which adds reassurance for day-to-day comfort.

From here, it’s a manageable ride or short trip to Mýkonos Old Town and the iconic Mykonos Windmills, both around 4 km away, and Little Venice is typically about 4 km from the property. If you want beach time without planning every transfer, Agia Anna Beach is roughly 2 km away, and the shuttle can help you fit in a swim between sightseeing.

Best for families and solo explorers who want an air-conditioned, non-smoking base with terrace space and an easy route to the beach while still being within reach of Chora’s landmarks.
