Modern Mykonos, Mýkonos City

Modern Mykonos is a compact, quietly focused stay in Mýkonos City, Greece, set on Sotiros 11 Chora where the streets feel like part of the island’s daily rhythm. The standout practical details are air conditioning and a non-smoking environment, which matter in Mykonos when temperatures rise and you want a calm, breathable base after time outdoors. With a guest rating of 9.7/10 from 41 reviews, the overall impression is consistently positive, with travelers highlighting the ease of getting around town and the comfort of returning to a well-managed, no-fuss setup.

Location is the big decision factor here. You can reach Panagia Paraportiani in about 0.7 km, and the iconic Mykonos Windmills and Little Venice are roughly 0.9–1.0 km away, making it realistic to plan a day of sightseeing without relying on frequent transport. People who like to wander tend to appreciate the walkable feel of Chora, especially for late-afternoon wandering and evening strolls along the waterfront.

Modern Mykonos is best for solo explorers and couples who want to spend their time in Mýkonos Town rather than commuting, and who prefer a straightforward, smoke-free atmosphere. If you’re visiting for the landmarks and the nightlife energy of Chora, this address keeps you close to the action while still giving you a comfortable place to reset. Check-in runs from 2:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so it fits well with typical island schedules.
