Ebenus Residence, Rethymno Town

Ebenus Residence is a small, tastefully set residence in Rethymno Town, Greece, suited to travellers who want a quiet base while still being close to the city’s main sights. Located on Ραδαμάνθυος 45, it’s an easy starting point for exploring the Old Town and the Rethymno Archaeological Museum, both about 1 km away. Guests also report that the soundproof rooms make a noticeable difference for sleep quality, which is especially helpful if you’re staying during busier evenings in town.

The stay is designed around practical comfort: air conditioning keeps temperatures manageable, and the terrace adds a simple place to unwind after a day out. For arrivals and departures, express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out streamline the process, so you can spend more time outside rather than waiting at reception. If you’re planning wider trips around Crete, car hire and an optional shuttle service (additional charge) can help you move beyond Rethymno at your own pace.

Recent reviewers rate the property 10/10 based on a small set of stays, with guests highlighting the calm atmosphere and the ease of settling in. With Rethymno Beach around 2 km away and the Venetian Harbour and Fortezza Castle within a few kilometres, the location works well for short, walkable outings as well as day trips. Ebenus Residence is best for couples and solo travellers who value peace, privacy, and a straightforward base for culture and coastal time.
