Petra Mare Apartments 2, Thasos

Petra Mare Apartments 2 is a family-friendly stay in Thasos, Greece, set in the Thimonia area at Thimonia 0. This is the kind of place where you can start and end the day at your own pace: there’s a terrace for morning coffee, plus a garden space that works well when kids need a little outdoor time. Free WiFi helps keep everyone connected, especially if you’re planning beach days or day trips around the island.

Guests commonly mention the relaxed atmosphere and the practical layout for families, with travelers describing it as comfortable for longer stays rather than a quick stopover. One recurring theme in guest feedback is that the outdoor areas make the apartment feel more livable, particularly in the quieter hours when the neighborhood settles down.

If you want culture as well as coastline, Thasos Town (Limenas) is about 12 km away, where you can visit the Ancient Agora of Thasos and the Archaeological Museum of Thasos, both roughly 12 km from the property. For a classic island evening, the waterfront around the port area is also about 12 km, giving you a straightforward base for meals and strolling.

Petra Mare Apartments 2 is best for families and small groups who prefer a calmer setting near Thymonia Beach (around 1 km) and want an apartment-style stay with outdoor space, WiFi, and an easy rhythm between beach time and sightseeing.
