Stella's House, Thessaloniki

Stella's House is a calm base in Thessaloniki, Greece, set on Μεροπης 2 in the city’s Ano Poli area, where historic streets make it easy to mix sightseeing with slower evenings. With a guest rating of 9.4/10 from 40 reviews, visitors repeatedly highlight the practical comfort of the stay and the care taken between guests. The rooms are non-smoking and soundproof, so even if you’re returning after time in the lively center, you can expect a quieter night. Air conditioning is included, which matters in Thessaloniki’s warmer months.

This is a good fit for families and couples who want independence without sacrificing comfort, since the home-style setup includes a fully equipped kitchen and a living space for downtime. Reviewers also mention that the property follows local safety protocols, and that rooms are disinfected between stays, which adds reassurance for travelers who are paying close attention to hygiene. For guests who travel with laundry needs, an ironing service helps keep outfits ready for dinners and day trips.

If you’re planning your days around key sights, you can reach the Church of Agios Dimitrios in about 1 km and the White Tower in roughly 2 km, then continue toward the waterfront and central squares at your own pace. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable for urban exploring, but the soundproofing helps offset any street noise you might encounter while returning. Overall, Stella's House suits travelers who value quiet, cleanliness, and a straightforward, comfortable base in Thessaloniki rather than a hotel-style routine.
