Las Palmas Smart Rooms, Las Palmas

Las Palmas Smart Rooms is a simple, practical stay in Las Palmas, Spain, set on Carretera de Mata (58) for travelers who want to base themselves near the city’s coastal energy without paying for frills. The property works best for solo explorers and couples who are comfortable with a shared setup, since the shared lounge/TV area and shared kitchen are part of the day-to-day rhythm. Rooms are non-smoking, and the hotel also keeps non-smoking throughout, which matters if you’re sensitive to smells. For connectivity, guests have access to free wired internet and general internet access.

Location is the real advantage: you can reach Parque de Santa Catalina and the Las Canteras Beach area in about 2 km, making it easy to plan morning walks and late-afternoon strolls along the waterfront. Calle Triana is roughly 3 km away for browsing and casual dining, while Vegueta Old Town sits around 5 km from the hotel for a more historic, wanderable afternoon.

Guest feedback is mixed, with an overall rating of 6.7/10 from 81 reviews. Several visitors mention the convenience of the shared spaces and the usefulness of the free wired internet, while others imply the experience is more functional than polished. If you’re looking for a quiet, fully private hotel experience, you may find the shared areas less appealing. If you’re mainly out exploring Las Palmas and want a straightforward base with covered parking and discounted offsite parking options, Las Palmas Smart Rooms can fit the bill.
