Should You Book Hôtel du Marché?
Not worth booking for most travelers based on the very low guest rating (5.2/10 from 121 reviews). Unless you specifically need the town-center location and free parking, the review score suggests frequent issues that may outweigh the convenience.
Best For

- Travelers who prefer non-smoking rooms and soundproofing as a priority
- Guests planning day trips to nearby sights like Ile de Noirmoutier (10 km) and La Côte de Jade (15 km)
- Groups needing practical on-site services like a restaurant and room service
Not Ideal For
- Travelers who rely on consistently strong guest feedback, given the 5.2/10 rating
- Light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise/comfort concerns, since the low score implies potential problems that could affect rest
- Travelers flying in who want the shortest transfer time, as the nearest airport is Nantes Atlantique (50 km) and La Rochelle–Île de Ré is 70 km away
