Should You Book Enzo Hotels Chalons en Champagne?
Consider booking only if you value practical amenities like free parking and pet-friendly policies, but be aware the guest rating is modest (5.8/10). It’s likely a functional stop for families and pet owners, yet the reviews suggest it may not meet expectations for travelers seeking consistently high service or comfort.
Best For
- Families needing a straightforward base with children allowed and air-conditioned, non-smoking rooms
- Pet owners traveling with dogs or other pets, since pets are allowed and parking is free
- Drivers who want convenience and cost control via free parking and discounted offsite parking options
- Travelers planning day trips to nearby cultural sites like Église Saint-Étienne and Basilique Saint-Remi
Not Ideal For
- Travelers who strongly prioritize consistently high guest satisfaction, given the 5.8/10 rating across 1198 reviews
- Light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise, since the hotel’s setting is tied to a ZI/route area (potentially busier than a town center)
- Guests who prefer being able to walk to major attractions, since key sights listed are a few kilometers away (about 3–4 km)
What to Expect
You arrive at a more industrial/route-oriented area near Saint-Martin-sur-le-Pré, with the convenience of free parking right on site. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM, and the rooms are non-smoking with air conditioning, which should help with comfort during warmer periods. From the hotel, you can plan short drives to nearby sights such as Église Saint-Étienne and Basilique Saint-Remi, rather than expecting everything to be right outside your door. Based on the overall review score, expect a generally workable stay, but not a standout experience.
Location Intelligence
The hotel is positioned for easy access to regional destinations, with Châlons Vatry Airport about 30 km away and Reims Champagne Airport about 35 km away. For sightseeing, the listed attractions are roughly 3–4 km away (Église Saint-Étienne, Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie, and Basilique Saint-Remi), so plan on short trips rather than relying on walkability. For nature time, Parc Naturel Régional de la Montagne de Reims is about 25 km away.
