Johannes Studio, Ampavris

Johannes Studio is a compact, independent stay in Ampavris, Kos, Greece, set at Κακό Πρινάρι Κως, 2 for travelers who prefer a quieter base over the bustle of the main streets. Guests can settle into air conditioning after a day outdoors, and the terrace gives you a simple place to slow down with sea and mountain views in the surrounding area. The studio’s practical setup suits longer stays because you can manage your own pace and routines. Cleanliness is treated seriously here: rooms are disinfected between stays, staff follow local safety protocols, and enhanced cleaning standards are designed to be effective against Coronavirus. If you’re particular about how often your space is serviced, you can opt out of cleaning during your stay, which some guests appreciate for privacy and consistency.

With a guest rating of 9.5/10 from just four reviews, the feedback is strongly positive, suggesting a calm, well-kept experience rather than a high-volume property. One recurring theme in small-review accommodations like this is that the details matter—things like having an invoice provided and having a first aid kit on site contribute to a sense of care. For getting out and about, Kos Town is about 10 km away, where you can visit the Tree of Hippocrates and the Ancient Amphitheatre, and the Asclepieion is roughly 8 km from the studio for a deeper historical day.

Johannes Studio is best for couples and small groups who want a peaceful location with reliable comfort, clear hygiene practices, and easy access to Kos’s main sights without feeling tied to the city center.
