Aurelia Villa Kefalonia, Angón

Aurelia Villa Kefalonia in Angón, GR, is a practical base for travelers who want privacy and space while still being within reach of Kefalonia’s best-known sights. The villa sits in the Angonas area, and its address on Angonas makes it easy to plan day trips by car. With a guest rating of 8/10 from a single review, the overall impression is still forming, but that one stay suggests a comfortable, laid-back setup rather than a high-traffic hotel experience.

This is best for families and small groups who prefer to cook, spread out, and come and go without the rhythm of a lobby. The property’s non-smoking policy and air conditioning help keep indoor comfort steady, and the terrace with outdoor furniture is a natural place to linger after a beach day. If you’re traveling with pets, the pet-friendly approach can remove a common headache for visitors who don’t want to leave companions behind.

For nearby landmarks, Myrtos Beach is about 20 km away, giving you a classic Kefalonia coastline drive when you want dramatic views. The Kefalonia Natural History Museum is roughly 10 km from the villa, a good stop if you’d like something educational between swims. If you’re planning caves and scenery, Melissani Cave is around 30 km and Drogarati Cave is about 38 km, both suited to a full-day itinerary.

On-site logistics are geared toward independent travel: offsite parking with discounted rates is available, and car hire plus a shuttle service (additional charge) can help you reduce friction when you’re exploring the island’s spread-out beaches and villages.
