Aloni, Ano Meria

Aloni is a quiet base in Ano Meria, Folegandros, Greece, suited to travelers who want calm, sea air, and a straightforward island rhythm. The property sits at Φολέγανδρος - Μήλος, and guests particularly like the terrace for taking in the view without needing to rush anywhere. With Agios Georgios Beach about 1 km away, it works well for people who plan swim-and-return days rather than long, complicated transfers.

The standout comfort is practical peace: soundproof rooms help cut down on outside noise, and air conditioning keeps evenings comfortable when the island heat lingers. Reviews also point to thoughtful basics like private check-in/check-out and a safety deposit box, which makes short stays feel less procedural. The setting is family-friendly too, with family rooms available and a non-smoking environment throughout, so groups can settle in without worrying about smoke.

You’re also close enough to culture and landmarks to mix beach time with a little history. Panagia Church is roughly 3 km away, and the main town of Chora is about 10 km from the property for evening atmosphere and sightseeing. Guests with a couple’s mindset often mention how the calm location supports slower mornings, while families appreciate the simple logistics of being near the coast.
