Taxiarchis House, Archangelos

Taxiarchis House is a practical, low-key stay in Archangelos, Greece, suited to travelers who want a calm base while still being close to the village and coastline. The property sits on Εθνική Οδός Ρόδου Λίνδου, so it’s easy to come and go for day trips, hikes, and beach time. Guests typically like the simple comfort of non-smoking rooms with air conditioning, plus the option to arrive and leave smoothly thanks to express and private check-in/check-out. The terrace and outdoor furniture are the kind of details people actually use, whether that means a quiet morning coffee or an evening wind-down after exploring. Reviews also commonly mention that the staff follow local safety protocols and that rooms are disinfected between stays, which adds reassurance for repeat visitors and families. In terms of location, Archangelos Castle is about 1 km away for a quick history-and-views stop, while Agios Georgios Beach is roughly 2 km from the house for swimming and sunbathing. If you’re looking for a greener outing, Epta Piges (Seven Springs) is around 6 km and works well for an easy nature break. For evenings, the property’s evening entertainment helps take the edge off travel days without requiring a long drive into town. This is best for solo explorers, couples, and families who prefer a straightforward, comfortable base with dependable routines rather than a high-energy resort atmosphere.
