Facadoro Apartments, Athens

Facadoro Apartments is a practical base for exploring Athens, Greece, with apartments set on Kolokotroni (15 Kolokotroni) in a central, walkable part of the city. With a guest rating of 6.8/10 from 527 reviews, it tends to suit travelers who value straightforward stays and quick access to sights over high-end extras. Reviews commonly mention the usefulness of air conditioning for comfort in warmer months and the convenience of express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out, which helps when you’re arriving late or moving on quickly.

The location works well for sightseeing days: you can reach the Acropolis area in about 2.6 km and the Acropolis Museum in roughly 2.4 km, while Plaka’s atmospheric streets are around 2.0 km away for evening walks and casual dining. For a change of pace, the National Garden is about 2.1 km, offering a calmer route between major landmarks.

Families are explicitly welcome, and the apartment setup can be a better fit than a single hotel room when you want a bit more flexibility day to day. Solo explorers and couples also tend to like the easy city access, especially when planning a route that combines Monastiraki Square (around 1.9 km) with the historic center. Travelers also note the hotel’s attention to safety and cleanliness, including staff protocols, effective cleaning measures against Coronavirus, and hand sanitizer in guest areas.

One practical point: there’s no parking available on-site, so road-trip plans may require public parking arrangements nearby. Overall, Facadoro Apartments is best for guests who want a central Athens base with reliable basics and efficient arrival and departure.
