Urban Apt, Athens

Urban Apt is a simple, practical base for staying in Athens, Greece, with its address on Aioleon 14 placing you close to the city’s everyday rhythms rather than the tourist core. The apartment is geared toward travelers who want to move around independently, and it suits solo explorers and couples most comfortably. Air conditioning helps in warmer months, while free wired internet and general internet access make it workable for planning days or handling light remote tasks. The non-smoking policy across the property is also a plus for guests sensitive to indoor odors.

Location matters here: Omonia Square is about 1 km away for transport links and street life, and the National Archaeological Museum is roughly 1.5 km from the door, making it easy to fit a major museum visit into a short itinerary. If you’re chasing the big-ticket sights, the Parthenon is around 2.2 km, and the Acropolis Museum is about 2.3 km, so you can structure day trips around the Acropolis area without relying entirely on taxis. The Plaka District, with its traditional lanes and evening atmosphere, sits at about 3 km.

Guest feedback is limited, with a 4.3/10 score from four reviews, so expectations should be set carefully and confirmed against your own priorities. Reviews from other guests point to a mixed experience overall, which can be a deciding factor if you’re looking for consistently polished stays. Still, for travelers who prioritize location, basic comfort, and connectivity over high-end extras, Urban Apt can function as a straightforward Athens base.
