Afrodite's House-Restaurated Oil Factory, Ayiá

Afrodite's House-Restaurated Oil Factory is a distinctive holiday home in Ayiá, Greece, created from a restored oil factory and set in the quiet surrounds of Φουρνές Δήμου Πλατανιά Χανιά 73005. The location suits travelers who want space and calm, while still being within reach of major sights: the Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete is about 3 km away, and the coast around Platanias is roughly 14 km for swimming and beach walks. For a full-day excursion, Elafonissi Beach is about 50 km from the property.

Inside, the emphasis is on comfort and cleanliness, and that shows in the guest feedback: the property holds a 9.8/10 guest rating based on 11 reviews, with visitors repeatedly praising how well it’s kept between stays and the attention to hygiene. Practical touches also stand out, including air conditioning for warm evenings, free wired internet for staying connected, and a terrace where you can slow down after a day out. If you’re traveling with family or friends, the BBQ facilities make it easier to enjoy simple meals at home rather than always eating out.

This is best for couples, families, and solo explorers who prefer a countryside feel over constant urban bustle, and who don’t mind driving to restaurants and beaches. Pets are allowed, which can be a deciding factor for travelers bringing companions along. With self parking available for a surcharge and discounted offsite parking, getting around the Chania area is straightforward once you’ve planned your routes.
