Mare suites 1, Chania Town

Mare suites 1 is a small, recently renovated stay in Chania Town, Greece, set on Ipirou 33 in a neighbourhood that keeps you close to the sea and the old harbour atmosphere. With a guest rating of 9.2/10 from 27 reviews, it’s the kind of place travellers mention for calm nights and practical comfort, especially after a full day of walking. The rooms are air conditioned and soundproofed, which helps when you’re returning from the lively waterfront, and the property also uses guest-room disinfection between stays.

For location, you’re within roughly 1 km of Koum Kapi Beach and about 1 km from the Chania Old Venetian Harbour, with the Chania Lighthouse around 1.2 km away. That makes it a good base for solo explorers who want to move on foot, and for couples who prefer an easy rhythm of beach time by day and harbour strolls at night. Road-trip friendly travellers may like the straightforward access to town, though the hotel does not offer parking.

Check-in runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and the staff can help coordinate an airport shuttle service for an additional charge. Guests also note the convenience of express check-in/check-out, plus in-room safety via a safety deposit box. If you’re planning to stay connected while you’re out, you’ll appreciate the focus on cleanliness and the quiet design details that keep the experience restful. Overall, Mare suites 1 suits travellers who value location, soundproof comfort, and reliable hygiene standards over on-site extras.
