Central & Riverfront Room 1, Edessa

Central & Riverfront Room 1 is a small base for travelers who want to spend their time in Edessa, Greece, rather than commuting. The room is on Athinon, placing you within a short walk of Edessa Town Hall and close to the Edessa Waterfalls, about 1.4 km away, so you can plan early visits before the busiest hours. Reviews highlight a consistently clean stay and careful handling between guests, which matters if you’re sensitive to hygiene details. Guests also mention that the host and staff keep things orderly and responsive, and that safety routines are taken seriously, including hand sanitizer in key areas and a first aid kit on site.

Because the property is non-smoking throughout and uses air conditioning, it suits people who prefer a calmer indoor environment after time outdoors by the river. The availability of BBQ facilities can be a plus for longer stays, while discounted offsite parking helps if you’re arriving by car and want an easier arrival and departure.

This is best for couples and solo explorers who like walking to sights, as the town-center atmosphere and riverfront scenery are part of the appeal. Expect a straightforward, practical setup rather than a large resort experience, and plan your days around nearby landmarks such as the waterfalls park viewpoints (around 1.6 km) and town-center streets (roughly 1.2–1.5 km). With a 9.7/10 guest rating from 38 reviews, the strongest recurring themes are cleanliness, attentive service, and the convenience of being close to Edessa’s signature sights.
