Villa Basilica Kallisto, Emboríon

Villa Basilica Kallisto is a small, family-friendly base in Emboríon, Santorini, set at Emporeio Santorini, where the pace feels quieter than the main beachfront towns. With a guest rating of 9.8/10 from four reviews, recent visitors highlight how comfortable the stay feels for both couples and families, especially when you want a calm place to return to after sightseeing. Rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned, which matters in the warmer months, and the terrace gives you a simple spot to slow down with a drink or breakfast at your own rhythm.

The practical side is well covered: staff follow local safety protocols and there’s hand sanitizer available in key areas, while cashless payment options make check-in and day-to-day easier. If you’re driving, offsite parking is available with discounted rates, a helpful detail on an island where parking can be a headache.

Location-wise, you’re well positioned for classic Santorini moments. Ancient Thera is roughly 9 km away for dramatic archaeology and sweeping views. The black-sand beaches at Perissa (about 10 km) and Perivolos (about 13 km) are close enough for a full beach day without committing to staying in the busiest areas. For a change of scenery, Kamari Beach is around 11 km, and Fira town sits about 14 km from the property.

Best for families and couples who prefer a quieter village setting in Emboríon, while still keeping beaches and major sights within straightforward reach.
