Angel house at Amoudara, Gázion

Angel house at Amoudara is a standout base in Gázion, Greece, for travelers who want beach time without giving up easy access to Heraklion’s sights. The property sits at 10 Προμηθεα in the Amoudara area, putting you close to the shoreline and within a short drive of major landmarks. Guests consistently highlight the comfort level, with a rare 10/10 guest rating from four reviews, and several visitors mention how quiet the stay feels thanks to soundproofing.

The layout suits groups that prefer space to spread out, and the home’s family-friendly setup makes it practical for longer stays where everyone needs a routine. Air conditioning helps keep the indoor temperature comfortable after a day in the sun, while private check-in/check-out adds a smooth, low-fuss arrival. A terrace gives you a place to slow down outdoors, and luggage storage is useful if your plans don’t line up neatly with check-in times.

The Heraklion Archaeological Museum is around 8 km, and Knossos Palace is about 10 km, making it straightforward to mix coastal relaxation with history.
