ilios villa Georgioupoli, Georgioupoli

Ilios Villa Georgioupoli is a quiet base in Georgioupoli, Greece, set along Επαρχιακή Οδός Γεωργιούπολης-Κουρνάς, a road that keeps you close to both the coast and the inland sights. Guests typically come for the privacy and relaxed pace of a villa stay, and the overall guest rating of 9/10 (from four reviews) points to a consistently positive experience. The setting works well for couples who want space and outdoor time, and it also suits families who prefer having room to spread out rather than sharing common areas. Expect practical comforts that matter on Crete: air conditioning for warmer evenings, non-smoking rooms, and a terrace for slower mornings. For meals at home, the BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture help turn the garden into a real part of the holiday rather than just a backdrop. A coffee shop on site adds a low-effort option when you want something simple without driving. Reviews from previous guests highlight an easy, low-friction stay, with express check-in/check-out and car hire support that makes day trips straightforward. If you’re planning your itinerary, Georgioupoli Beach is about 1 km away for swimming and sunset walks, while Lake Kournas is roughly 3 km for a change of scenery and lakeside atmosphere. The nearby Venetian Fountain area in town is around 2 km for a quick cultural stop. Parking is handled offsite with discounted rates available, which is especially useful if you’re arriving by car and want to keep logistics simple.
