Sunshine Village Hotel, Hersonissos Overview
Sunshine Village Hotel is a 4-star hotel in Hersonissos, Greece. Rated 6.8 out of 10 based on 65 guest reviews.
Sunshine Village Hotel is a 4-star base in Hersonissos, Crete, suited to travelers who want a calm place to reset between beach days and local sightseeing. Set on Seferi in the Hersonissos area, it’s positioned close to popular draws, including Aquaworld Aquarium about 1.2 km away and Star Beach Water Park roughly 1 km from the hotel. Chersonissos Beach is around 1.5–2 km, making it practical for guests who prefer short trips rather than long transfers.
The hotel’s standout for many guests is the full-service spa, which gives you a straightforward way to unwind without leaving the property, and the fitness facilities help balance a holiday that might otherwise skew purely indulgent. Families and groups also tend to appreciate the arcade/game room, which offers an indoor option when the weather turns or after a busy day outdoors. Reviews with a 6.8/10 score from 65 guests suggest the experience is generally comfortable, with recurring praise for the staff’s welcome and the day-to-day convenience, while some visitors note that expectations should be realistic for a smaller, resort-style setup rather than a polished, high-end retreat.
If you’re planning a mix of attractions and downtime, the location works well: you can pair aquarium time with a water-park afternoon, then return for spa time and a relaxed evening. Sunshine Village Hotel is best for couples and families who value on-site relaxation, a few on-property diversions, and quick access to Hersonissos’ main attractions.
