XD Central Apartments, Ierissos

XD Central Apartments in Ierissos, Greece, is a practical base for exploring the coast and the wider Mount Athos region, with a quiet, residential feel on 19 Akandhou Street. The standout for many guests is the combination of soundproof rooms and climate control, which helps you sleep well even when you’re close to everyday town activity. Apartments also include WiFi, plus heating for cooler evenings, so you can stay comfortable year-round.

What really shapes the experience here is the apartment format: you’re not limited to eating out, because each unit includes a kitchen setup that makes breakfast and simple meals easy. Several reviewers mention that this flexibility suits families and longer stays, especially when traveling with children or when you want to plan around beach and hiking schedules. Others highlight the terrace as a welcome extra for winding down after a day on the coast.

Location matters, too. You can reach Ierissos Beach in about 1.1 km for a quick swim or an early morning walk, and the local market is around 0.5 km away for supplies. For a bigger day trip, Mount Athos is roughly 25 km from the apartments, a common target for visitors drawn to the area’s cultural and natural landscapes.

With a guest rating of 9.7/10 from 55 reviews, the overall pattern is consistent: travelers appreciate the calm interiors, the helpful apartment setup, and the ease of getting out to the beach, market, and nearby nature. If you’re a solo explorer, couple, or family looking for comfort and independence rather than hotel-only routines, XD Central Apartments is a strong fit.
