Maria's Room, Kamarai

Maria's Room is a small, restful stay in Kamarai, Σιφνο, Greece, designed for travelers who want quiet downtime close to the shoreline. The property is set in the Kamarai area on Σιφνο, so you can step out and reach Kamarai Beach in about 1 km, ideal for early swims or late walks. It’s also a practical base for culture and viewpoints: the Kastro of Sifnos is roughly 4 km away, and the Sifnos Archaeological Museum sits in the same general area.

With a guest rating of 10/10 from a single review, the emphasis appears to be on calm, straightforward comfort and a stay that matches the pace of the island. Non-smoking throughout helps keep the atmosphere fresh, and free wired internet supports travelers who need to stay connected without relying on mobile data.

For couples, solo explorers, and anyone planning a beach-and-hike itinerary, this is the kind of place that works because it doesn’t try to be everything at once. You’ll spend your time outdoors—either at Kamarai Beach or further afield—then come back to a simple, comfortable base. If you’re visiting for landmarks, plan around the Kastro and museum at about 4 km, and consider Vathi Beach around 6 km for another change of scenery. The overall feel is quiet and functional, with the terrace and air conditioning doing the heavy lifting when the weather turns warm.
