La maison d Aspasia, Kamilari

La maison d Aspasia is a quiet holiday base in Kamilari, Greece, set on an undefined road and suited to travelers who want a calm rhythm between beach time and cultural days. The property is designed for comfort and discretion, with non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout, plus air conditioning for warm Crete evenings. Guests also have access to a terrace and outdoor furniture, so you can step outside for a slower start to the day.

Location matters here: Phaistos Archaeological Site is about 3 km away, making it practical for an early visit before the crowds build. Kommos Beach is roughly 4 km from the accommodation, ideal for swimming and relaxed coastal walks, while Matala Caves are around 12 km for a different kind of shoreline scenery. If you’re planning a longer day, Heraklion’s archaeological museum is about 70 km away by road.

Reviewers rate La maison d Aspasia at 9.4/10, and the small number of reviews highlights consistency—guests mention a peaceful atmosphere and a sense that the host team is attentive. Practical touches also stand out: offsite parking is available with discounted rates, and the staff follows local safety protocols. The property also reports enhanced cleaning between stays, including guest rooms being disinfected, with hand sanitizer available in guest rooms and key areas.

Best for couples and small families who prefer a low-key base, want easy access to Phaistos and the southern coast, and value a terrace for downtime rather than a busy, city-center setting.
