Emily's cottage house, Kastellánoi

Emily's cottage house is a quiet stay in Kastellánoi, Greece, set along Επαρχιακή Οδός Αρκαδάδες-Αγίου Γεώργιου (the kind of address that suits travelers who want peace without being far from the island’s highlights). Guests consistently rate the property highly, with a 9.9/10 score from nine reviews, and the recurring theme is calm comfort: people mention restful nights and a homey feel that makes it easy to slow down. The terrace is a practical outdoor spot for morning coffee or evening air, while the Japanese garden offers a distinctive touch for guests who enjoy small, thoughtfully kept outdoor spaces. Inside, air conditioning helps you stay comfortable during warmer days, and free wired internet supports work or planning without relying on mobile data.

This is best for couples and small groups who prefer a self-contained base and don’t mind driving to get around, especially since the surrounding area is more countryside than city center. If you want a beach day, Agios Georgios Beach is about 3 km away, and it’s a straightforward outing for swimming and sun. For culture and palace gardens, Achilleion Palace is roughly 10 km from the cottage, giving you a clear target for a half-day visit. Corfu Old Town, around 16 km away, is where you’ll go for historic streets and evening dining.

Parking is covered, and there’s also offsite parking with discounted rates available, which reviewers tend to appreciate when arriving by car. Non-smoking throughout keeps the atmosphere fresh, making the cottage a solid choice for travelers who value quiet, comfort, and simple logistics.
