Giannis Pool Villas in Kastelos, Kástellos

Giannis Pool Villas in Kástellos, Greece, is a small, family-friendly base in the Kastellos Apokoronou area, designed for guests who want space, privacy, and an easy rhythm between sightseeing and downtime. The standout is the swimming pool and the terrace setting, where many stays naturally turn into slow afternoons rather than packed itineraries. Air conditioning helps you settle quickly after a day in the sun, and express check-in/check-out keeps arrivals and departures from feeling drawn out.

The property’s family rooms suit groups who want to stay together, and the layout works well for longer visits when you prefer simple routines at home. Guests also value the practical approach to cleanliness: rooms are disinfected between stays, and staff follow local safety protocols, which comes up in the kind of calm, “everything feels handled” feedback you see in the 9.8/10 guest rating.

Location matters here. Kástellos village is about 1 km away, so you can reach local life without a long drive. For culture and gardens, the Municipal Garden and Centre of Byzantine Art is around 15 km, and Chania’s Old Town and Venetian Harbour are also roughly 15 km for evening strolls, museums, and waterfront dining.

Best for families and couples who want a quieter pocket of Apokoronas while still being within reach of Chania’s highlights. If you’re sensitive to traffic noise, note that the stay is in a residential village setting rather than a city-centre hotel, and parking is available offsite with discounted rates.
