Cleo Rooms 250m from the beach, Malia

Cleo Rooms 250m from the beach in Malia, Greece, is a straightforward 2-star base for travelers who want the shoreline within easy reach and the flexibility to explore Crete at their own pace. The property sits on Grammatikaki Street, putting you close to the everyday rhythm of the resort while still keeping the trip to the water short. Rooms are kept comfortable with air conditioning, and there’s a terrace where you can take a breather after a day in the sun. Practical touches matter here: luggage storage helps if your plans run ahead of check-in, and express check-in/check-out is useful when you’re moving on quickly. Non-smoking rooms are available, and the hotel also allows pets, which can be a deciding factor for some guests.

Location-wise, you’re about 250 meters from Malia Beach for morning swims and late walks, and roughly 2.2 km from the Malia Archaeological Site if you want a culture break between beach days. For a change of scenery, Stalis is around 4.5 km away, while Hersonissos is about 10 km.

Cleo Rooms is best for budget travelers and solo explorers who prefer a simple, functional stay with the beach and key sights close by, rather than a resort-style setup.
