Bougainvillea House 1, Mantoúkion

Bougainvillea House 1 is a small stay in Mantoúkion, Greece, positioned on 14th Passage of Xenofontos Stratigou, close enough to use Corfu Town for your daily sightseeing. The location suits travelers who prefer walking and short hops rather than long commutes, with Saint Spyridon Church and the Serbian Museum about 2 km away. Corfu Old Town’s lanes and waterfront walks are similarly within roughly 2 km, so you can plan evenings around local streets and evening atmosphere.

The guest rating of 6.2/10 from 10 reviews suggests a mixed experience, with some guests appreciating the straightforward setup while others point to areas where expectations may not fully match. In practice, that means it’s best approached with realistic expectations and a focus on the basics: WiFi access, air conditioning, and practical services like express check-in/check-out. If you like being active, the on-site hiking option and BBQ facilities can help you build a day around outdoors time, then return to a quieter base.

For couples, solo explorers, and small groups who want to spend more time out in Corfu Town than inside their accommodation, Bougainvillea House 1 can work well. The presence of free parking and an airport shuttle option can also reduce friction if you’re arriving by car or need a transfer. Massage services add a small extra for downtime after walking the Old Town and visiting nearby landmarks such as Saint Spyridon Church and the Serbian Museum.
