Villa Alkmini, Mykonos Overview
Villa Alkmini is a 3-star hotel in Mykonos, Greece.
Villa Alkmini is a 3-star stay in Mykonos, Greece, well placed for visitors who want to move between Mykonos Town’s bustle and the calmer rhythm of the island. Guests typically choose it for the straightforward base it provides: you can reach key sights on foot, then return to a quieter outdoor setting when the day’s walking is done. Reviews commonly mention the welcoming staff and the calm, low-key feel, with many guests describing it as a comfortable place to reset after exploring Chora. The property’s location in the Mykonos Town area makes it practical for visiting Little Venice (about 1 km) and the Mykonos Windmills (about 1 km), both of which are easy to build into a single day of sightseeing. The Church of Panagia Paraportiani is also roughly 1 km away, so you can spend less time commuting and more time wandering the lanes. For beach time, Ornos Beach is about 3 km from the hotel, giving you an option beyond the town center without needing to stay right on the sand. Travelers also note the value of having a pleasant outdoor space for morning coffee or evening downtime, especially when the island’s light and views are the real attraction. Villa Alkmini is best for couples and solo explorers who prefer an easy walk to Mykonos Town and want a relaxed, personable stay rather than a high-energy resort atmosphere.
