Iria Beach Hotel, Nafplio

Iria Beach Hotel is a beach-adjacent stay in Iria Beach, Nafplio, Peloponnese, Greece, suited to travelers who want the sea close by while still reaching Nafplio’s historic core. The property sits at Iria Beach, and from here it’s a practical base for days spent between shoreline time and fortress views. Guests typically mention the calm, laid-back atmosphere and the convenience of a seasonal outdoor pool, which gives you an easy option when you don’t feel like heading into town. Free breakfast is also a common highlight, especially for mornings when you want to start sightseeing without planning first.

Nafplio’s landmarks are within a short drive, including Bourtzi Fortress at about 6 km and Palamidi Fortress around 7 km, plus the Old Town sights such as Syntagma Square and the Archaeological Museum at roughly 6 km. Reviews from other guests are limited, and the overall rating of 5.6/10 suggests mixed experiences, so it’s worth setting expectations around a smaller, quieter hotel rather than a high-volume resort.

Rooms are designed for rest after a day out, and the hotel’s terrace and garden spaces offer a pleasant change of pace from the beach. Free WiFi and luggage storage help if your schedule is flexible, while concierge service can be useful for planning local outings. If you’re looking for scuba diving, the area has diving options nearby, and the hotel can support your plans. Iria Beach Hotel is best for couples, families, and solo explorers who prioritize a relaxed coastal base, straightforward amenities, and easy access to Nafplio’s major sights.
