Hellenic Filoxenia, Néa Ankhíalos

Hellenic Filoxenia is a family-run stay in Néa Ankhíalos, Greece, set on Τσιτσίνια 62 and within easy reach of the sea life of the area. The hotel’s non-smoking approach and air conditioning help keep indoor spaces comfortable, especially during warm days when you’ll likely be out by the shore. Guests can unwind on the terrace with outdoor furniture, and families will appreciate the availability of family rooms designed for shared travel. Practical touches matter here too: express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out streamline arrivals and departures, which is a relief when you’re juggling schedules. Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, and a shuttle service is offered for an additional charge if you prefer not to drive.

What stands out in the limited guest feedback is the sense of calm and care. One recent visitor highlighted how smoothly the stay ran from check-in to getting settled, while another pointed to the quiet, non-smoking environment as a key reason they would return. The location also works well for beach-first itineraries, with Paralia Neas Achialou about 0.8 km away for morning swims and evening walks.

If you’re planning day trips, Volos is roughly 20 km from the hotel, making it straightforward to reach the Archaeological Museum of Volos and the city’s waterfront atmosphere. Overall, Hellenic Filoxenia is best for families and couples who want an easy base near the beach, plus a low-stress arrival process and a terrace for downtime between outings.
