Orkos House, Plaka

Orkos House is a small stay in Plaka, Naxos, Greece, set on PLAKA- ORKOS and geared toward travelers who want an easy base near the coast. The property’s non-smoking rooms and air conditioning help keep stays comfortable, while the terrace gives you a simple outdoor spot for quiet mornings or evening downtime. Families are specifically catered for with family rooms, and the staff’s local safety approach is supported by cleaning standards designed to be effective against Coronavirus, with rooms disinfected between stays.

The guest rating of 6.5/10, based on two reviews, suggests a modest but workable experience, with real travelers focusing on practical comfort rather than high-end facilities. One common theme in small-property feedback is how much the stay depends on expectations: guests who prioritize cleanliness, a calm atmosphere, and a straightforward location tend to feel satisfied, while those seeking a more polished, resort-style setup may want to compare alternatives.

From Orkos House, you can reach Plaka Beach in about 1 km, making it a practical choice for beach days without long transfers. If you’re in the mood for history and town life, Temple of Apollo and Portara are roughly 8 km away, and Naxos Town (Chora) sits around 8–9 km from the property. The hotel also highlights guest education on local ecosystems and culture, which can add context to your time on the island.

Orkos House is best for couples, families, and solo explorers who value a low-key, beach-adjacent base with clear cleanliness practices and a terrace for relaxing between outings.
