Anamniseis Giorgio Falasarna, Platanos

Anamniseis Giorgio Falasarna is a 4-star stay in Platanos, Greece, set along Eparchiaki Odos Katelliou-Platanou, a practical base for beach and heritage days. The property’s layout is designed for comfort and privacy, and guests commonly mention the ease of settling in for longer stays with room to spread out. Families tend to appreciate the baby safety gates and the calm, non-smoking environment, while groups often value the shared downtime options like board games and puzzles. Outside, the terrace and outdoor furniture make it straightforward to slow down between excursions, and the air conditioning helps when the Crete sun is at its peak.

From this area, Falasarna Beach is about 3 km away, so you can plan a morning swim and still be back in time to rest. Ancient Falasarna, roughly 4 km from the hotel, is an easy add-on for travelers who want context for the coastline—think ruins, viewpoints, and a sense of history without a long drive. If your itinerary stretches further, Balos Lagoon is around 38 km and Elafonissi Beach about 58 km, both well-suited to day trips.

It’s best for families, small groups, and couples who prioritize space, practical comfort, and easy access to west Crete’s beaches and archaeological sites.
