Villa Ylagiali, Plataria

Villa Ylagiali is a small, apartment-style stay in Plataria, Greece, set in the ΠΛΑΤΑΡΙΑ ΘΕΣΠΡΩΤΙΑΣ area where the pace slows down and the scenery does the talking. The property’s private check-in and private entrance feel more like your own base than a standard hotel setup, which guests often mention as a big part of the comfort. Rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned, so you can settle in easily after a day by the coast or out exploring the Acheron region.

The location works well for couples and families who want both beach time and day trips. Plataria Beach is about 1.5–2 km away, making it practical for morning swims and late-afternoon walks. If you’re drawn to nature, the Acheron Springs are roughly 14 km from the property, a popular outing for visitors who like riverside landscapes and fresh-water scenery. For evenings with more atmosphere, Parga Town is around 12 km away, with its harbour and castle area giving you a clear change of pace.

Reviewers rate Villa Ylagiali exceptionally highly, and the recurring themes are straightforward: the stay feels calm, the apartments are comfortable for everyday living, and the hosts’ responsiveness helps guests plan their time. On-site, the terrace and BBQ facilities give you a simple way to stay in and unwind, while express check-in/check-out and luggage storage help when arrival and departure times are tight. Offsite parking with discounted rates is available, which can make a difference if you’re travelling by car.
