Villa Aphrodite, Pýrgos

Villa Aphrodite is a spacious villa in Pýrgos, Greece, set along the Provincial Road Pyrgos-Katakolo, a practical base for exploring western Peloponnese by car. With four bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, it suits longer stays where families or groups want to eat in as easily as they go out. The property’s terrace and garden create outdoor breathing room, and the air conditioning and heating help you stay comfortable across seasons. Guests also note that the villa is non-smoking and that staff follow local safety protocols, which adds reassurance for independent travelers.

The location works especially well for day trips: Ancient Olympia is about 30 km away, while Kaiafa Lake is roughly 15 km from the villa, giving you two very different landscapes to choose from. If you’re planning time around the port, Katakolo is about 28 km, useful for coastal walks and sea-view evenings.

Reviewers rate Villa Aphrodite 9.5/10 based on six reviews, with visitors commonly highlighting the generous space, the calm feel of the outdoor areas, and the ease of settling into a home-style setup. One recurring theme is that the villa suits people who prefer privacy over hotel routines, especially when traveling with children or a mixed-age group. Check-out is at 11:00 AM, so plan your departure with enough margin for a final morning in the garden.

Best for families and small groups who want a quiet, self-catered stay near major sights like Ancient Olympia and Kaiafa Lake.
