Rhenea Resort, Santorini

Rhenea Resort is set in Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece, in the Imerovigli area around 847 00, where the island’s caldera views shape daily life. With a guest rating of 6/10 from a single review, expectations should be set carefully, especially if you’re comparing against more established Santorini stays. The property suits travelers who want a quiet base while still being close to the main cliffside sights, and it’s particularly well matched to couples who prefer a slower pace over nightlife.

Rooms at Rhenea Resort include a furnished balcony, so you can step out for air and take in the surrounding scenery without leaving the property. Outside, the seasonal outdoor pool provides a simple reset between walks, and the garden and terrace give you places to linger with a book or a drink. Practical touches like free WiFi and luggage storage help when your plans don’t line up neatly with check-in and check-out times, and the concierge service can assist with local recommendations.

In the immediate area, Skaros Rock is about 1 km away for dramatic caldera terrain, while the Fira–Oia cliff path is roughly 3 km from the resort for longer walking sessions. If you want museum time, Museum of Prehistoric Thira in Fira is around 4 km, and Megaro Gyzi is also about 4 km. For water lovers, snorkeling is available nearby, typically accessed via the island’s coastal routes.

Overall, Rhenea Resort works best for solo explorers and couples who prioritize outdoor space and balcony time, and who are comfortable with a smaller, less-reviewed property.
