Hotel Ariadne, Skopelos

Hotel Ariadne is a small, pet-friendly property in Skopelos, Greece, set at Stafilos Beach on Skopelos Island (Stafilos Beach, Skopelos, 37003). If you want sea air and a quieter base, this is a practical choice: the beach area is about a kilometer away, while Skopelos Port and Skopelos Town are within a short drive. Guests typically mention the relaxed pace of the location and the comfort of common spaces, including a fireplace in the lobby that adds warmth during cooler evenings. Free WiFi helps you stay connected, and luggage storage makes it easier to settle in after arrival. The front desk has limited hours, so it’s worth planning check-in time carefully. Breakfast is available for a surcharge if you prefer not to start the day off-site. One detail that stands out for travelers arriving by ferry is the free ferry terminal shuttle, which can reduce the hassle of getting from the port to your accommodation. Reviews are mixed but generally positive, with an overall guest rating of 7.8/10 based on a small number of reviews; several guests highlight the convenience of the area and the welcome for pets, while others focus on the need to be comfortable with a more low-key, limited-hours setup. This makes Hotel Ariadne best for couples, solo travelers, and small families who prioritize a beachy setting, pet-friendliness, and straightforward amenities over a highly staffed, full-service experience. Nearby, Stafilos Beach (around 1 km), Skopelos Port (about 5 km), and Skopelos Town (about 6 km) give you easy options for swimming, dining, and exploring the island’s main sights.
