Liberty Hotel, Thasos Overview
Liberty Hotel is a 2-star hotel in Thasos, Greece.
Liberty Hotel is a simple, budget-friendly base in Thasos, Greece, set in the Golden Beach (Chrysi Ammoudia) area at Golden Beach (Chrysi Ammoudia). It’s the kind of place solo travelers and couples choose when they want an easy beach rhythm without paying for extras they won’t use. Guests typically mention the practical value of the stay, with free WiFi for staying in touch and a 24-hour front desk that helps when plans run late. The terrace is a small but welcome spot to unwind after a day in the sun, and luggage storage makes it easier to explore before check-in or after check-out.
The location suits beach days first, sightseeing second. Chrysi Ammoudia Beach is about 0.5 km away, so you can walk out for morning swims and return for breaks. If you want a change of pace, Thasos Town (Limenas) is roughly 12 km from the hotel, where you’ll find the Archaeological Museum of Thasos and the Ancient Agora. The Ancient Theatre of Thasos is also around 13 km, giving you a classic island-history outing without needing a full-day tour.
Based on common guest feedback for this type of 2-star property, expectations are best kept realistic: rooms are straightforward, and the appeal is in the location and the essentials rather than luxury. If you’re traveling on a budget and plan to spend most of your time outdoors—on the beach or in nearby Limenas—Liberty Hotel fits well.
